Ericsson Leverages AWS to Provide Operators Limitless 5G Capabilities

With the help of Ericsson, CSPs can provide limitless 5G mobile connectivity around the world and through the collaboration with AWS the company offers new innovation capabilities that operators can use to create new and better services for their end customers.

Ericsson offers a suite of products and services to support Cloud Native transformation for telcos.

Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure is specifically optimized for hosting cloud-native 5G applications. Providing the capability to deploy containers as a service (CaaS) over bare metal servers without the need for a virtualization layer.

The solution is based on Ericsson Cloud Container Distribution (a CNCF-certified CaaS), Ericsson Software Defined Infrastructure providing efficient hardware management, Operations Management for Cloud Infrastructure (OMC) and E-VNFM (Enhanced VNF Manager) to enable application orchestration using standardized workflows.
